The
Perceiver of Sound League is a group of individuals
united
for the spiritual practice of artistic production,
the
study and practice of sound production and perception.
the
mutual improvement of their members in the science of vocal music,
the
development of the soul, character, spirit and body
through
the practice of artistic, philosophical and scientific disciplines
and
the production of spectacles and concerts that unify these
disciplines.
The
members of the Perceiver of Sound League individually and
collectively aspire
to
explore the nature of consciousness through the production and
perception of sound.
Sound includes but is not limited to:
vocal
music, instrumental music, language, poetry,
verbal
communication, devotional chant, incantation and philosophical
discourse.
We
think it possible that the search for the Ultimate,
in
which everyone participates,
is
only hindered by dogma, authority and hierarchy.
Therefore
the Perceiver of Sound League will espouse no dogma and claim no
authority.
